How are Glass Catridge Fuse is Made? The smaller clear glass type have a 
CHICA
glass tube between the two end-caps. The fuse wire is soldered to both

I must have replaced thousands over the years & though being

possessed of a very enquiring mind . I never felt the urge to find out

how the fuses were made ! I have actually once or twice pulled the metal

ends off a blown fuse & threaded new fuse wire through that was about 4

inch long, the wire did not sag as I remember & I re soldered the end caps

& cut the wire to length !! & ended up with a fuse that looked like new .

oh, boy, that is so simple, they do it in airless environment

and the little glass berrels are cut to lenght and the ends are put on,

then wires are soldered, with a bit of glue in the caps, it becomes
